Robida 11 orchard frutteto sadovnjak
An excerpt from «Luigia», 2025

In 2025, I finally reached a milestone with my long term research project, Luigia, a multidimensional undertaking that has been stimulating my mind and body for well over a decade. A very first excerpt has been published by an incredible Italian publication called Robida. This eleventh issue of Robida is a collection of essays, photographic explorations, visual narratives, and poetic texts all centered on the orchard as landscape and fruit trees as powerful metaphors and living archives of stories and memories.
The collective behind Robida (situated on the border between Italy and Slovenia and known for its work that intersects written and spoken words in the form of publishing, radio, residencies and summer schools) presented their eleventh issue at the Museum SMO in San Pietro al Natisone, at the Sprint Milano Art Book Fair, the Tokyo Art Book Fair, and at an event held at the Theo Van Doesburg House in Paris.
I am immensely grateful to my editor, Aljaž Škrlep, and all the other Robidas who believed in this collaged excerpt of Luigia.
